Why We’re Pivoting: Stop Building for 'Enterprise' and Start Building for Developers
The Log Fatigue is Real For the past few months, we built LogVision as a comprehensive security dashboard. We thought the world needed another high-level enterprise tool. We were wrong. The feedback (and the lack of conversions) told us one thing: Developers don't need more 'management' tools. They need better 'visibility' tools. The Problem with Modern Logging Most server logs are treated like a digital landfill. We dump everything into .log files and only look at them when something breaks. When we do look, we are met with thousands of lines of Greyscale text. Using grep and awk is a superpower, but it's not always the most efficient way to spot a pattern. The Shift: From Security to Visualization We are officially pivoting LogVision from a broad security platform to a Lightweight Log Visualizer . Our goal is now singular: Transform complex server logs into visual maps and graphs that anyone can understand in seconds. Why does this matter? Pattern Recognition: Humans are evolved to s
