
Why junior developers struggle to contribute to open source
Hi everyone 👋 I'm currently building a project called MiPrimerIssue. The goal is simple: help junior developers find their first issue in open source projects. One problem I see very often when people start programming is this: They want to contribute to open source… but they don't know where to start. There are thousands of repositories on GitHub, hundreds of issues, and it's hard to know which ones are beginner-friendly. So I'm building a platform where junior developers can: • Explore open source projects • Find beginner-friendly tasks • Work on real issues • Submit their first Pull Request The platform is still in development, but I'm sharing the idea early to get feedback from the community.
