I've been a software engineer for over 18 years. Distributed systems. Data pipelines. Streaming infrastructure. Backend at scale. I've built systems processing terabytes of data, architected platforms handling millions of requests. I'm good at what I do. So why am I starting over as a complete beginner in AI/ML?
