Within hours, eight countries — Iran, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and the UAE — announced at least partial closures of their airspace. Dubai International Airport, Hamad International in Doha, and Zayed International in Abu Dhabi all suspended operations.
