Over the last few years I’ve been thinking a lot about a simple question: Why do so many online discussions fail to produce clarity? Most platforms structure conversation the same way: someone writes a post people reply in threads the most visible comments rise through upvotes or engagement This structure works well for visibility and participation. But it often struggles with something else: collective reasoning . A long thread can contain dozens of arguments, agreements, disagreements, and corrections.
