The rat race is a weird term that describes the exhausting, never-ending, highly competitive struggle of modern life—especially in the world of work, career advancement, money, status, and material success. Have you ever had the feeling that you're constantly running as fast as you can just to remain in the same place (or to barely move forward), often sacrificing health, relationships, free time, personal passions, and peace of mind in the process?
