Eight months ago I had 11 users on my Chrome extension. Three of them were me on different browsers. One was my mom. She doesn't even use Chrome. I'm writing this because I spent way too long figuring out stuff that nobody talks about in those "how I got 100k users" posts. Those stories always skip the ugly middle part.
