The notification appears at the top of the screen, then dissolves before you fully read it. You catch just enough to feel like you missed something relevant. Important, maybe. Or maybe just calibrated to feel that way. You tap. The system learns. Not just that you tapped. It learns how long you hesitated. What you were doing before. How often that exact pattern has worked on you before. This is not interaction anymore. It is training data flowing in both directions. And most people still believe they are the one in control of the loop. Persuasion Is No Longer a Moment. It Is an Environment. There used to be a boundary. An ad was an ad. A pitch was a pitch.
