What is Serverless Computing? Serverless computing is a modern cloud model that allows developers to build and run applications without managing servers or infrastructure . Instead of setting up and maintaining servers, developers simply write code, and the cloud provider—such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud —takes care of everything behind the scenes. In a serverless environment, the cloud provider automatically handles server provisioning, scaling, maintenance, and updates . The application code runs only when triggered by an event, and users are charged only for the actual time the code executes , not for idle server capacity. Key Aspects of Serverless Computing 1.
