Puppeteer and Proxies: My Most Expensive Web Scraping Mistake I am KazKN. I thought throwing money at Vinted would solve my scraping problems. I was completely wrong. My infrastructure bill exploded in two days. 😵 I deployed Puppeteer with premium residential proxies. I thought I was a genius. Running headless Chrome is an absolute nightmare for server memory. My server choked on massive RAM bloat. Zombie browser instances multiplied everywhere. 💥 Then the proxy bans started hitting. Cloudflare saw right through my expensive IPs.
