A proxy service is a web infrastructure that acts as an intermediary between your device and the internet. Its operation involves four main stages: the client sends a request, the proxy server validates it, a connection is established with the destination, and finally, the received response is processed and filtered. Differences Between Proxy and VPN While both protect traffic, a VPN encrypts all system traffic but is generally slower. In contrast, proxies offer higher customization, are faster, and can route traffic for specific applications. Main Types of Proxies Mobile Proxy (LTE/5G): Utilizes real IP addresses from mobile operators. It offers the highest level of trust and is nearly impossible to block.
