I promissed new summary once VueJS Amsterdam is over. It took me two weeks longer, but there we are. Hear, hear! I bring the latest Vue news. Unfortunately, I must start with a sad announcement - the Weekly Vue News , the invaluable source of inspiration for Vue devs are no more. Their long-time curator Michael Hoffmann called it quits . Let his hard work be remembered. But life goes on. And the life in the Vue ecosystem is everything but steady. So lets recap the new releases: The most significant one would be the Vite 8.0 . Why? Because Vite is nowadays fundament for modern JS development. And v8 brings important updates like using brand new and super-fast Rolldown bundler. There was a beta testing phase running since December, and now the stable version was made available. On top of that, there is Vite+ - a unified modern toolchain built with the latest available features as "This is the way" of developing webapps in 2026.
