The regulatory heat keeps rising. Between GDPR enforcement actions, new state-level privacy laws in the US, and the general shift toward user-respecting software, a lot of teams are finally making the jump from Google Analytics to something that doesn't make their legal team nervous. Funny enough, I saw a study trending on Hacker News this week about how Finnish sauna heat exposure triggers stronger immune cell responses than expected. It got me thinking — the privacy "heat" developers have been sitting in for years is producing a similar effect. The ecosystem of privacy-focused analytics tools has gotten genuinely strong.
