
I Built an AI Agent That Does My Entire Promo Planning. Here's What Triggered It.
I'm from India. And the thing that pushed me to build this wasn't a product idea or a business plan. It was frustration. Watching it up close, repeatedly, until I couldn't ignore it anymore. It was Holi that really made it click for me. Holi is one of those moments where every brand, big and small, wants to run something. A sale, a campaign, a limited drop, a festive offer. The energy is there. The intent is there. But what I kept seeing was brands scrambling in the days leading up to it with no real plan. Just urgency dressed up as strategy. They'd sit down to plan the promo and immediately get swallowed by everything that comes before any actual planning. What are competitors doing? What discount makes sense without killing the margin? Which channels? In what order? What worked last time? Nobody had clean answers to any of it. So they'd guess, patch something together, and ship it under deadline pressure.
