Every time I need to format JSON, decode a JWT, or convert YAML, I end up on a random website that probably sends my data to some server. So I built ReformatIt — a collection of 37 developer tools that run 100% client-side. No data ever leaves your browser. Full transparency: this started as a personal tool for my own workflow. I'm a C++ developer, not a web dev — I built this almost entirely with an AI coding assistant (Claude). I wanted a tool that I'd actually trust with my data, and I was curious how far AI-assisted development could take someone outside their comfort zone.
