I Added Open Graph Preview Images to DocBeacon Share Links

Recently, I added Open Graph preview images to DocBeacon share links. The problem was simple: when a DocBeacon link was shared in Slack or an email client, it often looked like a plain URL. For proposals, pitch decks, contracts, and other important documents, that is not a great first impression. So I used OG images to make shared links more informative before the document is even opened. Now, when a DocBeacon share link is posted in supported environments, the preview can include basic document context instead of showing only the raw link. That makes the link easier to recognize and helps it feel more legitimate at a glance. While building this, one thing became clearer to me: a lot of document-sharing friction happens before the click. A link appears in an inbox or a Slack thread. It looks unfamiliar.
