Who Am I? I'm a software engineer based in Japan, currently working at McAfee, where I develop malware scanners for Android using Java, C, and C++. My career has taken me through embedded systems, Windows desktop apps, cloud PoCs, application security tooling, and now mobile security β€” and I genuinely enjoy navigating across those layers. My Background I started my career at Yokogawa Test & Measurement, building embedded GUI software for oscilloscopes in C++. From there, I moved into Windows desktop development (C#, WPF, XAML) and eventually led a small DX team doing cloud PoC work on Azure with Python and ASP.NET MVC. After that, I spent a few years at Black Duck Software (formerly Synopsys) as a Customer Delivery Engineer, supporting AppSec tool deployments β€” SAST with Coverity, and fuzz testing with Defensics across automotive protocols (CAN-bus, CAN-FD) and wireless stacks (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G).
