We launched BabyNamePick.com 25 days ago as a simple baby name discovery tool. Here's how we went from a handful of pages to nearly 3,000 indexed URLs — and the strategy behind it. Day 1-7: Foundation We started with: A homepage with a name generator 19 category pages (Greek Names, Nature Names, etc.) 5 blog posts ~130 sitemap URLs The focus was on technical SEO fundamentals : Schema.org JSON-LD on every page Proper meta titles/descriptions Clean URL structure XML sitemap + robots.txt Day 8-14: Content Explosion We shifted to aggressive content creation: Expanded from 19 to 50 category pages Wrote 25+ blog posts targeting long-tail keywords Grew name database from 200 to 1,500+ Built 130+ external links Day 15-25: Individual Name Pages The biggest improvement: every name got its own URL page targeting "[name] meaning" queries.
