Feedback & Testers Wanted | FileSearch Prototype

via Dev.to Pythonma le19h ago

🔍 Search PDFs and other local files. Fast prototype (caching + multiprocessing, no indexing yet). Built with Python (PySide6 GUI). Local-first search tool (similar to DocFetcher, but with a modern UI). Goal: make local search feel like a web search engine. Looking for feedback on features and use cases — what would be most helpful? Which additional features would you like to see? Start with small local directories for testing Installer for Mac and Windows Check the README and open issues on GitHub.
