Introduction We recently added a "Share on LinkedIn" feature to our landing page project, devlog-ist/landing . The goal was to increase user engagement and expand the reach of user portfolios by enabling seamless sharing on LinkedIn. This post details the implementation process, covering AI-powered post generation, direct publishing via the LinkedIn API, and considerations for different user tiers. Key Features The LinkedIn share functionality incorporates several key components to provide a smooth and effective sharing experience. AI-Powered Content Generation To streamline the sharing process, we integrated AI to generate suggested text and banner images for the LinkedIn post. This helps users quickly create engaging content without manual effort. Direct Publishing via LinkedIn API The feature allows users to directly publish the generated content to LinkedIn via the LinkedIn API.
