The Problem Developers are trapped by cloud-based code generation tools that treat quota as a profit lever. Rate limits kill velocity, pricing feels arbitrary, and you can't generate boilerplate without gambling on vendor quotas. Switching back to manual work just to regain control feels broken. What I'm Thinking of Building LocalDraft is a CLI-first code generator that runs locally by default, uses your own LLM API keys (or local Ollama), and generates boilerplate and architectural scaffolds without artificial limits. Optional hosted tier for team collaboration and remote execution—you stay in control of your token spend.
