# Breaking the System: An Interactive Experience of Gender Equity in Tech 🚧 The Problem We talk about gender equity in tech all the time. But most of it stays abstract. Charts. Discussions. Panels. Important—but distant. And that’s the problem. Because if people don’t feel the barrier, they won’t understand why it needs to be broken. 💡 The Idea I wanted to turn something invisible into something interactive. So instead of writing about bias or inequality, I built a system where you experience it. You don’t scroll through information. You confront a barrier. And you break it. 🧠The Experience The project is simple on the surface: A visual “barrier” representing systemic bias Each click creates cracks Tension builds with sound and motion On the final interaction — the system shatters But underneath that simplicity is intention.
