AI Agent vs Chatbot: I've Deployed Both. Here Is What Actually Matters. Every week someone contacts me with a variation of the same request: "We want to add AI to our customer support." What they actually need is almost never the same thing. Sometimes a chatbot handles it completely. Sometimes they need a full AI agent.
