
Agentic Development: My Invisible Dev Team and Why Our Processes Must Adapt
I want to be honest with you upfront: I was skeptical. I tried GitHub Copilot when it was first released. It was useful, particularly for boilerplate and code suggestions, but it did not fundamentally change my workflow. It functioned as an ambitious autocomplete tool. While I appreciated its capabilities, it did not significantly impress me at that time. However, when I began using Cursor with Claude and Claude code, my perspective shifted significantly. My experience extended beyond simply accelerating code writing. It resembled collaborating with several senior developers, having architects available for brainstorming, and accessing peer reviewers on demand.
