Adding Multilingual Data in OpenStreetMap (OSM) Today I worked on adding multilingual support in OpenStreetMap using the web editor. Add one more language (Telugu) text to a node point. Steps I followed: Opened OpenStreetMap website Selected a location (node point) Clicked on “Edit” (iD editor) Added multilingual tag: "name = Gowri Hall" "name:te = గౌరి హాల్" Saved the changes with a proper comment Outcome: Successfully added Telugu language data to the map.
