I have been designing for 29 years. I have worked as an individual contributor, a design manager, and a dev team lead across enterprise companies like Adobe, IBM, and Danone. I have seen tools come and go. Sketch replaced Photoshop. Figma replaced Sketch. Each time, the tooling changed but the process underneath stayed the same. AI is different. AI is not just replacing the tool. It is replacing the process.
